Laszlo Peter Liebhardt
Senior Pastor
Pastor Laszlo Liebhardt was born in 1965, in a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor's family in Hungary, and was baptised in 1984.
He gained BA in Theology in Budapest, in the Adventist College of Theology in 1993, in the same year he received his Certificate of Minister, he served as an intern and associate pastor from 1992 in Szolnok and Salgotarjan in Hungary, and was ordained in 1996 in Budapest.
As a senior pastor, he served in several Hungarian pastoral districts in Budapest, Szekesfehervar, Bekes, and Debrecen.
He served three times as a local conference secretary, and, also, as a ministerial association secretary and as a stewardship secretary in the two Hungarian Conferences in the Duna Conference and the Tisza Conference.
He came to the UK with his family in 2001 to learn English and study theology, and he gained an MA post greaduate degree in Theology of Pastoral Studies from Newbold College (accredited by Open University) in 2005.
Served as an elder and Sabbath School department leader in the Newbold SDA Church, and as a senior pastor in Exeter, Torquay and Wokingham.
He is currently the senior pastor of Bournemouth and Winchester Churches, and, also, oversees the five Adventist pastoral districts in Dorset as Area 3 Coordinator.
Laszlo met his wife, Edit, in 1981 in an Adventist Hostel at the Lake Balaton in Hungary, and they married in 1987. They have three grown up children, Attila, Edit and Peter.
